• updated devices for lending, including Chromebook laptops;
• accessible technology for patrons with disabilities;
• enhanced Wi-Fi capacity as usage grows; and
• printing and scanning that remain affordable and barrier-free

In addition to maintaining essential technology across the system, donor support enables the Library to test and trial emerging tools at tech-forward locations such as Prototype Skyview. These pilots allow us to explore innovations—like a document translation machine that instantly converts physical documents into multiple languages—before introducing them system-wide. Tools like this are especially valuable for newcomers navigating essential services or complex paperwork.
